The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment. UNEP's Corporate Services Division (CSD) is the guardian of UNEP's corporate interest, mitigating its exposure to risk and supporting the organization with management tools, plans and related capacity building. It oversees UNEP’s efficient and effective management, in line with UNEP's accountability requirements, rules, regulations and UN core values. This position is located in Multilateral Environment Agreements (MEA) Advisory Unit, Corporate Service Division in the Nairobi duty station. The Finance & Budget Assistant reports to the Finance & Budget Officer/Treasurer of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol (MLF). The function of this position is in the MEA unit that also provides Treasury service the MLF.
