Qualifications



Bachelor’s degree in law
Master’s degree in Commercial Law or other relevant field would be considered as an asset
Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate practice areas, previous experience in renewables sector will be a plus
Previous experience in compliance practice areas would be highly appreciated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language, French would be a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong critical thinking
Excellent negotiation skills
Adaptability and attention to detail
Activités
Attorney at Law - Role Responsibilities:



Handling and coordination of corporate matters (incorporation of companies, corporate housekeeping, shareholders / board of directors’ resolutions, delegations of authority, share transfers, shareholder loans, etc.)
Drafting and assistance in negotiations of contracts and documents (such as construction contracts, land rights agreements, operation and maintenance contracts, etc.)
Legal research, legislation update and regulatory risks monitoring
Interaction with internal and external stakeholders
Contribution and assistance in legal reporting


Compliance Officer - Role Responsibilities:



Develop, support compliance activities by implementing company’s programs, policies and initiatives to prevent illegal, uncompliant or improper conduct
Support the identification, assessment and monitoring of compliance risks, by conducting due diligence checks and preparing compliance due diligence reports
Support local teams in relation to compliance issues to ensure Company’s conformity with all related internal and external policies and regulations
Analyze data to identify compliance risks and propose modifications and/or improvements to compliance policies and processes
Prepare reports on the effectiveness of key compliance processes and policies, ensuring a simple, standard and uniform reporting approach
Assist in employees’ familiarization with compliance processes


The tasks of the Compliance Officer are not expected to exceed 1/3 of the total working time.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Attorney at Law who will be part of TotalEnergies Renewables Hellas internal Legal Department and will also undertake Compliance Officer duties, based in Athens.
