* High school diploma or equivalent
* Three or more year’s accounting/bookkeeping experience preferable in the customer service or shipping environment or two years of college with two years of office experience
* One or more years of personal computing experience, SAP experience preferred

Activités
As the Staff Assistant - Traffic, you will be responsible for recording the daily production, processing and managing outgoing railcars, and entering POs for packages material for the Polypropylene (PP) business.

Regular activities in this role will include:

• Confirm new production in SAP daily

• Process orders in SAP for railcars moving to storage and customers including generating picking tickets and posting goods issue

• Review SAP delivery due list and troubleshoot any orders that are overdue.

• Work directly with QC Lab to select batches for orders not automatically selected by SAP

• Reconcile month-end inventories for B150, R150, X150 and B240.

• Block/unblock inventory per established procedures and upon request

• Review Outbound Delivery Log for shipments from 8150 that have not processed and troubleshoot

• Reclass inventory as directed by Product Manager

• Process customer returns for locations 8150

• Review "N" grade inventory and allocate to orders as assigned by Lab

• Maintain split and blend process by communicating with QC lab, railroad and LPS

• Ensure quality and accuracy of inventory in SAP, add comments where necessary

• Maintain communication with railroad to bring loaded cars into the PP plant

• Maintain PP shipping files

• Reconcile end of the month raw material inventory in SAP to physical inventory

• Identify packaging needs based on weekly published production schedule; maintain packaging spreadsheet

• Enter STOs for cars sent to KTN for packaging and submit packaging POs

• Post goods receipt on packaging POs when manipulation reports are received from KTN

Work directly with the Customer Service group to timely ship orders to customers
* Work directly with the railroad, Logistics and LPS to communicate regarding railroad and railcar issues
* Work directly with other members of the PO Planning and Distribution group to cover other work as needed
