Main Objective

The main objective of the role holder is to act as a Legal and transaction advisor
for all company operations, decisions and transactions.



Activités
Roles and Responsibilities

Manage performance of the legal section in line with professional legal standards.
Mitigate litigation risk and provide legal advice to the company.
Support the Company secretary.
Execute the debt collection strategy.
Mitigating legal risks through structured management of the Contracts portfolio.
Manage insurance policies, processes, and claims.
Ensure the company’s operations comply with the applicable laws, regulations, voluntary commitments, and standards.
Train and create awareness to the commercial employees on the laws and expectations of the law affecting their roles and duties.
Manage the external legal panel and all third-Party service providers under the Legal section.
Profil du candidat
Experience/Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Laws.
Post Graduate Diploma in Legal practice is a must.
Excellent communicator and innovative Legal-business solutions.
Minimum of three (3) years experience with atleast 1 year as an in-house lawyer
Member of the Uganda Law Society.
